Seaboard Marine is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a Logistics Management 2014 Quest for Quality Award in Ocean Carriers for the third consecutive year.  Using scoring from five categories, Seaboard Marine finished overall among the top half, as well as the top five in customer service. Further, Seaboard Marine impressively ranked among the top three amongst all shipping lines in the equipment and operations category.

Edward Gonzalez, Seaboard Marine President, said, “We are pleased to once again be acknowledged by Logistics Management and its readers. This is a reflection of our continuous commitment to improvement and our mission to provide the highest quality service to all of our customers.”

Logistics Management’s annual survey is viewed as one of the transportation industry’s more reliable measures of customer satisfaction and performance excellence. To determine which providers win their award, over 7,000 Logistics Management readers chose top performers in various transportation sectors. In the category of ocean shipping, weighted scores from five key criteria were used: on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment/operations.  More than thirty (30) shipping lines received votes. The results were announced in the August, 2014 issue of Logistics Management.
