For the second year Seaboard Marine has been honored by Logistics Management in their annual “Quest for Quality” survey.
For nearly three decades, Logistics Management’s annual survey has been regarded in the transportation industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence. To determine which providers win the awards, over 6,100 Logistics Management readers chose top performers in various transportation sectors. In the category of ocean shipping, weighted scores from five key criteria were used: on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment operations. The results were announced in the August, 2013 issue of Logistics Management.
Of the five categories, Seaboard Marine tied for first place in the area of customer service. Additionally, Seaboard Marine impressively ranked second among all shipping lines in the information technology category.
